Sophie Marceau, played Princess Isabella in the movie "Braveheart". She evoked the historical figure in her portrayal of the film's character: strong and opinionated, yet locked in a meaningless marriage, wanting love. The real Isabella turned viscous in her later years (her nickname was "The She-Wolf of France") and had her husband, Edward II, murdered.
Isabella played a large role in the movie "Braveheart". These are some pictured of Sophie, portraying the young vicious Queen. | |
